Until We're Home

In Acts 8, the Lord led Philip to a deserted place in order to share the Gospel with an Ethiopian eunuch. The eunuch understood the message of Jesus Christ and believed, and as soon as he was baptized the Holy Spirit whisked Philip away to Azotus, a city 60 miles away from his hometown of Caesarea.

Why did the Holy Spirit not take Philip all the way to Caesarea? The reason is because Philip shared the Gospel in every village until he got home. Until we reach our heavenly home, we should be telling others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well!
